We are pleased to announce that the ACRE 2026 meeting, organized by AISAM, will take place on September 16, 17, and 18, 2026, at the National Research Council (CNR), Via dei Taurini 19, Rome.
There is still some time left—until June 15, 2026—to submit abstracts related to the identification and recovery of historical meteorological observations. Contributions may focus on newly discovered data sources, innovative extraction and digitization techniques, or applications based on recovered datasets.
Abstracts employing automated workflows based on artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques, citizen science initiatives, and operational best practices are particularly encouraged. Studies using historical data to investigate extreme climate events, such as floods, droughts, and other natural hazards, are also welcome.
The deadline for participant registration is June 30, 2026.
