The “Italian Hydrological Society” aims to foster the progress, enhancement and dissemination of Hydrological Sciences. In particular, the SII aims to stimulate interdisciplinary coordination and collaboration in research aimed at the qualitative and quantitative description of all components of the hydrological cycle. Relevant topics are the prediction and mitigation of the effects of exceptional hydro-meteorological events and the planning and sustainable management of water resources, even in the context of global changes.
